USCG Electronic Asset Logbook Training
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) provides full lifecycle engineering and logistics support for all USCG aircraft, and was charged with assisting the Logistics Transformation Program Integration Office in deploying logistics processes that were refined in the demanding aviation environment to the entire USCG. The ALC sought to develop a right-sized training package to enable fleet users to fully leverage new logistics information systems across a diverse and geographically dispersed enterprise.
CDS2 training personnel and subject matter experts developed a core training curriculum that was then tailored to address the specific equipment and maintenance environments of a diverse customer base. Our support has contributed directly to the dynamic change in configuration management that supports logistics transformation across the enterprise. Our subject matter experts use standard practices and tools in the context of each specific unit that is trained, and this approach has resulted in greater acceptance of change and rapid adaptation to new logistics processes that contribute to supply chain efficiencies, material accountability, full maintenance documentation, better performance history, and enhanced readiness.
